This morning you will arrive at Sandouping, the massive construction site of the Three Gorges Dam. Take a tour of the construction site then sail through the Three Gorges ship locks. Continue cruise through the longest scenic Xiling Gorge. |

In the morning, you will be transferred to a motorboat ride up the crystal clear Danning River passing through the towering "Three Small Gorges". Return to your cruise boat and continue sailing through Wu Gorge, know for its quiet beauty and the immortal Twelve Peaks. Later, cruise through the magnificent Qutang Gorge with its imposing vistas of caverns, pillars and pathways. |

Arrive at Shibaozhai where you will go ashore and visit the famous twelve-story wooden pagoda, known as the "Pearl of the Yangtze". Later, continue sailing towards Chongqing. |

Arrive picturesque Chongqing in the morning. Disembark with your belongings and proceed to the airport for a flight to Xian, the ancient capital city of China. Check in to your hotel. Later, you will be taken on a tour of this city's massive city walls.
