Motorcoach to the Hakone via Mt. Fuji with a drive halfway up the mountain; lunch at Highland Resort and sightseeing in Hakone; overnight at Hotel Kowaki-en. |
| Day 6 (Saturday) Hakone/Nara/Kyoto (L) |
This morning you will take the "Bullet" train to Kyoto. After lunch, a tour of Nara and a visit to Todaiji Temple with its Great Buddha; Nara Park and Kasuga Shrine before returning to Kyoto.

| Day 7 (Sun) Toba/Ise/Kyoto (L) |
In the morning, proceed via coach to Ise and visit to Pearl Island to see the process of cultural pearls and to watch women pearl divers at work. After lunch, visit the Ise Jingu Shrine with its Inner and outer shrine dedicated to the Sun Goddess and Goddess of Harvest and Sericulture respectively. Later in the afternoon, take a local train to Kyoto and check in at hotel.

| Day 8 (Mon) Kyoto/Nara/Kyoto (L) |
Morning visits to Golden Pavilion, a famous structure of Muromachi period for a noble court. Then, Nijo Castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace, famous for its elegant simplicity. After lunch, drive to Nara, the first permanent capital of Japan. Visit will be a visit Todaiji Temple with its Great Buddha, colorful Kasuga Shrine, and Deer Park before returning to your hotel. |
| Day 9 (Tue) Kyoto/Hiroshima |
The morning, take a "Bullet" train to Hiroshima, the site where the world's first atom-bomb was dropped. Transfer by ship to Miyajima Island in the Inland sea, home of Itsukushima Shrine with its famed red torii gate, seemingly afloat in the sea. Return by ship and visit Peace Memorial Park with its museum of A-bomb devastation relics, photos and data. Overnight at Rihga Royal Hotel. |
| Day 10 (Wed) Hiroshima/Kurashiki/Osaka (L) |
Via "Bullet" train to Kurashiki and visit Kurashiki Folkcraft Museum with over 1,000 pieces of ancient and modern folkcrafts including ceramics, textiles, dyed goods, and various wares of lacquer, wood, stone and glass. After lunch, visit Ohara Museum, know internationally for its wide variety of art works of El Greco, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and art works from China and Egypt. Continue by local train to Okayama and visit Korakuen Garden, one of the three best landscape gardens in Japan. Afterwards, take an express Train back to Osaka.
