Custom Family Tours allow Chinese-American adoptees and their families to create their own Chinese Motherland Tour. You will follow an itinerary created just for your family.
Returning to their Birth Land with their adoptive parents to guide the experience, adoptees will have a chance to develop pride in their cultural heritage while sharing a special time of discovery with their families. A family-friendly tour program with an emphasis on multi-cultural families, adoption issues, and cultural connections will allow time for the adoptees to catch a glimpse their homeland.
Custom Family Tours to China will allow a family to determine departure dates and the length of the tour and the style of travel desired by the adoptive family. Specific tour itineraries that vary in length and departure date can be organized for adoption travel groups, family groups, extended family groups for as few as two people to as many as 30.
You can choose to visit famous Chinese cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Chengdu, or Guangzhou for example. Or spend a week in your child's Home Province with a quick visit to one major city for sightseeing. It is your choice, plan your trip to see what you want and is the best for your child.
Chinese Motherland Tours allow the adoptees and the adoptive family a special time of discovery in the journey that is international adoption. Children and adults can together appreciate a Chinese culture that has given the world so much.

Chinese Motherland Tours are organized by Kate Delosso of Travel Counsellors, formerly Collectible Tours. Kate is an adoptive parent, a former board member of an international adoption agency, and a Far East destination specialist. In 1995, Kate traveled with her adopted daughter, Anne, to Korea. Since 1996, Kate has organized Motherland Tours for foreign-born adoptees and their families.
